Job requirements
Our client, a global Investment Management firm are seeking a talented Project Manager to work with their Retail Change Management Team on an initial 6 month contract basis.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing product and service development projects (or sub-projects) from approval through to launch. The job holder will be required to lead and motivate multi-disciplined teams of Retail staff, external service providers and advisers to ensure projects deliver to scope, on time and within budget
- Managing feasibility reviews ahead of project implementations as allocated
- Leading projects in accordance with the established control and reporting framework (the Retail Change Process)
- Reporting to and consulting with the Retail Projects Oversight Group, project sponsors and project board (when applicable) to update on progress, costs, risks, issues etc
- Assisting the Retail COO and the Head of Change Management in the evaluation of product and service development ideas
Candidate Requirements:
- You are a confident and adaptable individual equipped with appropriate interpersonal skills required to lead successful project teams
- You have experience of leading sizeable projects across multi-disciplinary teams (project duration 12 months and above)
- You will have experience of working with individuals at board level
- You should have experience of managing projects from initiation to implementation and closure
- You can demonstrate that you have good knowledge of the wider investment industry and good understanding of project methods and tools, including appropriate software
- You must have good interpersonal skills as Stakeholder Management will be a focus
