About the Company: A new contender in the life insurance market which has huge financial backing from a great deal of investors are looking to recruit a new Risk Operations Manager to join their expanding Risk and Compliance team within their Reading office. The company is going from strength to strength and seeking individuals that want to be a part of the companies future success and grow professionally with the organisation.. In this role, you will be integral to implementing and developing a series of Risk Management Frameworks and controls for the Customers and Sales Operations teams within the business. What we need from you

• Experience in working with Risk Management Frameworks
• Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and gaps
• Confidence to present findings and reports to senior stakeholders and piers
• Creating and maintaining monitoring plans for the sales team
• Lead the risk and compliance policy and procedures and hold these values true in your day to day activities

Your expertise

• Oversee Governance and Risk Frameworks for sales and operations teams
• Implement effective Risk and Control Self-Assessments and produce reports that are in line with the Risk apatite of the business
• Provided expert advice, training and mentoring to the sales and operations teams
• Deliver risk and control assessments and report on the effectiveness of the controls in place
• Build and maintain key relationships with the sales team, senior management, Underwriting, Finance and Marketing teams
• Assist in internal, external and regulatory audits with FCA / PRA
• Raise breaches and concerns to the relevant departments within the agreed timings and processes
